Montessori Learning
Dr. Maria Montessori first developed the Montessori method and the philosophy of the inner discipline of the child in Europe, at the turn of the century. Dr. Montessori had recognized that the young child absorbs knowledge more easily than the older children and that at the age of 2 the learning process begins rapidly. Her program has been accepted and adapted throughout the world.
At Tiny Blessings, the early childhood curriculum follows the principle of Dr. Maria Montessori. We encourages the development of the whole child allowing for an orderly, calm and peaceful approach to learning. Through the early childhood education program, the child gain confidence in making choices, and becomes aware of his or her surrounding.
Montessori program, was founded on freedom achieved through order, and which concentrates on the learning of self esteem and independence, is guided by teachers and teaching assistants in individual work activities and in small groups.
